The "Hotel AM Schloss" (lit. “Hotel at the Castle”) is located at the entrance gate to Thun Old City and lies at the foot of the castle hill. The castle is a few minutes from our hotel on foot, and from there you will certainly enjoy the fantastic view over the city of Thun and the nearby mountains. Our hotel is also located close to the pedestrian zone in which the numerous shops, restaurants and bars are conducive to strolling and lingering. Whether you wish to attend an event, visit a museum or go on a shopping tour – all places are within walking distance from our hotel.

We would be happy to welcome you soon to our "Hotel AM Schloss", which is led by our family since January 1, 2014. We have started to adapt our city hotel to the expectations and present-day requirements of our guests and invite you to benefit from the improvements we have made already. Whether you are planning a business event or just a short holiday in Thun – it will be our pleasure to meet your requirements and expectations.

You will find that Thun is much more than just a short stop in between on your way to your mountain adventures of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The city of Thun itself, Lake Thun and the "Hotel AM Schloss" are always worth a stay.
